Moores Farm Competition Centre Terms and Conditions, Including Privacy Statement
Patrons of Moores Farm Competition Centre assume full knowledge, understanding and agreement to the following:

Terms and Conditions
The management has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at Moores Farm Competition Centre.

For those measures to be effective everyone present must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents.

Moore Farm Competition Centre will accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, injury or damage to any person, or their property or animal, whilst on the premises.

No claim, or correspondence in respect of any claim, will be entered into arising from any incident, accident or injury to any person, animal, or property.

We strongly advise all clients should ensure that they, and their animals, are fully covered by third-party insurance & provide a copy for us to be held on file.
Instructions given by any official or member of staff must be obeyed.

All instructors using the facilities here at Moores Farm Competition Centre for teaching purposes are responsible for providing their own Public Liability Insurance. This along with Qualification Certificates, up to date Safeguarding and First Aid Certificates must be sent by email to mfec@btconnect.com which will be kept on file under GDPR rules and regulations.

A hard hat to current British Standard EN 1384 or PAS 015, with a correctly fitted chin strap must be always be worn whilst mounted and is advised at all other times whilst handling horses.

Body protectors are recommended.
Correct dress must be worn at all times. Arms should be covered and correct footwear must be worn whilst mounted.

Any person or animal acting in a dangerous manner may be asked to leave the premises. Excessive use of the whip or spurs, foul language, cruelty, or abuse will not be tolerated and will result in the offender being eliminated and asked to leave the premises fortify and money paid.

Management reserve the right to refuse or limit entry if deemed necessary, without giving a reason.

In the event of a concussion, which may occur without the loss of consciousness, riders are not allowed to remount. An examination from a First Aider or medic should be sought.

Any person responsible for a stallion must take adequate precautions to ensure the safety of others and should inform management that a stallion is present & display stallion disks on the bridle and ribbon in the tail. When not mounted must be handles by a bridle and chain lead rope.

Please do not muck out trailers or horse boxes onto the car park or fields please pop into the muck trailer located in the top corner of the car park.
Please clear up any mess your animal makes.

All stable areas are out of bounds to the public and their horses, anybody found in these areas will be asked to leave immediately.

Please take all litter away with you, or deposit in the litter bins.

Any person found damaging, destroying, vandalising, or stealing property will be asked to leave the premises. Costs will be charged to the offending person(s) and prosecution may be initiated.

Moores Farm Competition Centre may engage the use of a photographer at competitions. By entering you agree to Moores Farm competition centre using images (still and moving) of you and/or your child(ren) for advertising, marketing and publicity.

Any vet/paramedic cost must be met by the injured party.

No lunging or loose schooling at any time on the premises, unless an area has been specifically hired to do so.

The arena must be left in the state it was found, poo picked and all jump poles picked up off the floor.

Spectators who attend events for which they must be located within the area do so at their own risk. Spectators will be in the area with animals which may pose a danger, and whilst Moores Farm Competition Centre will take sensible precautions to increase safety, spectators must accept the risks are entirely at their own.

All horses/ponies present on site must conform to vaccination requirements and may be asked to leave if this cannot be proven. Equine passports must be presented on request.

Any breakages to equipment and or facilities must be reported to a staff member and must be paid for before leaving.

Any booking at Moores Farm Competition Centre assumes full agreement to the terms and conditions.

Vaccination Policy

EQUINE FLU VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

All equines brought to Moores Farm competition Centre must be accompanied by their passport which must be presented on request by any member of staff. Horses cannot attend within 7 days of any vaccination.
We currently have a 12-month policy of vaccination. Horses may attend after the first two inoculations of the initial course, and any time thereafter, as long as all subsequent boosters (the third in the initial course, then annually) have been administered within the required timeframe. We do however ask that you check the day, month and year to check that no dates have gone over; if a horse has gone over by a day, then it is not covered.

Cancellation Policy
For private hires, 48 hours cancellation notice is required in advance of hire date. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the full cost of the hire will be charged.

Clinics, 7-day cancelation notice is required of hire date. If less than this 50% payment is required.

External Shows, 1 months’ notice and will forfeit the deposit.

DOGS

We have a no dog policy her at the centre, if you have no other alternative than to bring them, they MUST stay secured in your vehicle.

Privacy Statement
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU), Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from. Your privacy is very important. Below we describe how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store the information you provide to us. Please note that this policy is subject to regular updates.
Information collected

Moores Farm Competition Centre will process data collected for the purpose of facilitating your registration on the basis of legitimate interests to deliver the service for which you have registered, included in this it will also allow us to keep you informed of important updates and changes to timetables.
Sources of our data
Collected data from the following sources:
Data is either stored on a secure server or PC. Any paperwork generated or collected is stored in a secure, office. All financial paperwork is stored for 7 years where after it securely shredded.

Modifying your personal information
Moores Farm Competition Centre provides you with methods to modify the personal information you provide to us. Certain information we are required to retain by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Horse Welfare Policy

We take Animal Welfare very seriously and we ask that all those that attend the shows and arena hire must follow the BHS guidelines for horse welfare.

Moores Farm Competition Centre carry out risk assessments on a regular basis.
